Just your "average" randomness :)

Well, I’m sick. Bleh. Of course, I might have taken advantage of my sickness. Heehee :)

I was home from school today, and yesterday and you know what I’ve been doing?

I’ve been watching Doctor Who. YUSS!

Emily got me addicted to it, and I have Netflix so I can watch older seasons. I’m on the tenth Doctor right now. Yay :P

And while I’m sick I don’t tend to think things through clearly, so dinner was amusing tonight :) (Spell-check is my best friend right now Haha) My brother was explaining that if he were to ever work in a cubical office he’d be fired the first few days. I asked he why and he said that he would be shooting USB rockets off all the time. And I was thinking of this thing called a thumbdrive (I google image’d it just to make sure that I was saying the right thing, and it came up with a thumb and that square thingy coming out of it. It was kinda creepy.). But he shook his head and was like what thingy? (I described the thumbdrive by saying that thingy and moving my thumb up and down) And we went on and on like that until he was like, “A thumbdrive?” And then he explained what he meant and it actually made sense to me. I guess you attach a foam rocket to a USB and push anykey on the computer to make air come out of it. And I was like, “What’s the anykey?” And he looked at me like I was stupid and was like, “The anykey? Older computers had an actual any key, but the any key on keyboards is every key.”

I thought about it for a sec and said, “So…you push every key at the same time?” Everyone at the table just looked at each other, and I was like, “What?” So my Dad and my brother went off about some kind of dorky computer talk, and I was just sitting there trying to figure out what anykey was, and I felt really really stupid. And I said out loud, “OH! It’s any key on the keyboard that you can hit!”

I’m never gunna live that down…
